Personal experiences of living with dementia
In September 2015, The Alzheimer Society of Ireland marked “World Alzheimer’s Awareness Month” with a poignant exhibit of "Letters to Remember", written by people affected by dementia, which went on display in various locations around Ireland.
The letters were penned by people living with dementia, including advocates with The Alzheimer’s Society of Ireland (ASI), the Irish Dementia Working Group (IDWG), as well as carers of people with dementia both living and passed on.
