The website( contains information on events and information flyers developed together with people from the minority ethnic groups concerned.

The Foundation itself, Stichting Alzheimer Indonesia Nederland, was created in the Netherlands to support and raise awareness of dementia within the Indonesian community/ethnic backgorunds living in the Netherlands and to inform of dementia awareness efforts in Indonesia.

By 2019, there were more than 4000 Dementia Friends and 60 volunteers in 16 cities in The Netherlands: Groningen, Den Haag, Eindhoven, Amsterdam, Arnhem, Rijswijk, Zoetermeer, Rotterdam, Sneek, Drachten, Leiden, Dlefzijl, Zuidhorn, Utrecht, and Nijmegen; and 3 cities in Indonesia: Jakarta, Denpasar (Bali) and Malang. The Foundation also made connections with goverment, private sectors, home care and nursing homes, an Alzheimer centre at the University and Alzheimer Café and two migrant organisations.

People with dementia and carers from the above-mentioned minority ethnic groups.
