INTERDEM meeting

The Hague 2019

INTERDEM (INTERventions in DEMentia) is a pan-European multidisciplinary network involving more than 170 researchers from 19 European countries and 4 countries outside Europe.  INTERDEM aims to develop pan-European psychosocial research in dementia, to actively disseminate this and enhance practice, policy and quality of life of people with dementia and their carers across Europe. People with dementia and their supporters are placed at the centre of European research and practice.

The main annual INTERDEM meeting is at the opening day of the annual Alzheimer Europe Conference. We exchange latest research on psychosocial interventions, discuss the new frontiers for research in dementia and plan the agenda for collaborative works. Around  110  participants, from all over Europe are invited to join the meeting and many INTERDEM members present their work at the  Alzheimer Europe conference.
