Registration fees

Online registration is open from 1 February to 13 October 2019. After that date, online registration will no longer be possible. Subject to availabilities, you may be able to register at the conference venue. Please see below for registration fees.

Special registration fees for people with dementia

If you are a person with dementia, you are entitled to the following reduced rates

Please note that these registration fees include the fees for yourself and an accompanying person of your choice. If you wish to take advantage of this possibility, please fill in the special registration form and return it to the Alzheimer Europe office by e-mail or fax.

Special registration fees for members and staff members of Alzheimer Nederlands

If you are a member or staff member of Alzheimer Nederlands, you will be able to benefit from the following reduced registration rates.

If you wish to take advantage of this possibility, please use the special discount number obtained from Alzheimer Nederlands or fill in the special registration form and return it to the Alzheimer Europe office by e-mail or fax.

If you are a full-time student, you are entitled to the following reduced rates:

To be able to register with the reduced student rate, you must present proof of full-time enrolment at a University or College. When contacting the Alzheimer Europe secretariat, please send an official letter from your university/college attesting your full-time student status and the special registration form.

Press Pass

Press passes are available for journalists covering the 29th Alzheimer Europe Conference in The Hague. Such press passes are only available for accredited members of the news media who are on assignment to cover the symposium. To benefit from a free press pass for the conference, please send a scan of your official accreditation (business card, press card) to certify that you are a member of the news media. In addition, please send a scan of an official letter on your news media outlet's letterhead confirming that you are on assignment to cover the Annual Conference along with the Press pass registration form below.

Please note that press passes are not available for delegates presenting an oral presentation or poster at the Annual Conference. All such delegates will be required to register for the conference by the early bird registration deadline.

Payment

When making your online registration, you will need to make a credit card payment (visa, Masercard or AMEX only). Online registration will only be validated after payment approval.

To pay by bank transfer please use the registration from below and send it to the Alzheimer Europe office by e-mail or fax.

All payments including on-site registrations will be done in EUR.

You will receive an invoice/confirmation of payment within two weeks of paying. You should bring this confirmation of payment to the registration desk at the conference venue when collecting your badge and documents.

Terms and conditions

Cancellation and change policy for registrations

Any changes to a registration must be sent to Alzheimer Europe in writing (fax, letter or e-mail). Changes to a delegate's name are possible for an administrative fee of EUR 25 until 13 October.

All cancellations must be sent to Alzheimer Europe in writing (fax, letter or e-mail). For cancellations received by 30 June 2019, reservations will be refunded less €50 for administrative costs.

After this date, no refund will be possible. Nevertheless, a replacement for the participant will be accepted for an administrative fee of EUR 25, until the deadline of 13 October after which no name changes will be possible.
