Stina Saunders (United Kingdom)

Stina Saunders is a fellow at the European Prevention of Alzheimer’s Dementia (EPAD) project and a doctoral candidate at the University of Edinburgh. Her PhD study is looking at the impact of diagnostic tests disclosure in the mild cognitive impairment population. Stina completed her postgraduate studies in Clinical Psychology at the University of Tartu in Estonia, focusing on adjustment disorders and stress reactions. Together with the wider EPAD team, Stina set up the first EPAD Participant panel to engage research participants throughout the course of the longitudinal cohort study. Aside from her doctoral work, Stina Saunders is involved with science communications and upcoming European Medicines Agency led work around patient preferences and patient reported outcomes measures in clinical trials.
