Mogens Hørder (JPNDR)

Mogens Hørder is currently professor at the Department of Public Health, Unit for Patient Perspectives, at the University of Southern Denmark .
He is Advisor to the InnovationFundDenmark on Joint Programming . He represents Denmark in the European Joint Programming Initiative on Neurodegenerative Diseases –JPND (www.jpnd.eu). He is also member of the Executive Board of JPND. Within JPND he is the coordinator of Health and Social Services Research and Innovation
He is engaged in a number of initiatives on Public and Patient Involvement (PPI) in research – in Denmark and internationally.He is chair of the Advisory Board on PPI of JPND.
From 1988 to 2008 Mogens Hørder was Dean at the Faculty of Health Sciences, University of Southern Denmark.
He has published more than 200 peer reviewed papers in academic journals on clinical molecular medicine and health services research
He has supervised several research students for degree of PhD and DMSc .
Throughout his career Mogens Hørder has been involved in the interaction between strategic research, technology assessment and quality development in health care-internationally as well as national.
