Dianne Gove

Having initially studied business and finance, Dianne  worked briefly at the European Commission and after that in a Norwegian bank. She then obtained an Honours Degree in Psychology and Masters Degrees in Education and Psychoanalytical Studies before training in analytical Gestalt therapy.  Dianne has been working as the Information Officer of Alzheimer Europe since 1996 (with a 2 year break along the way) and has been involved in a wide range of projects linked to dementia. In the last few years, she has focused on ethical and legal issues. The first ethical issue addressed was that of the use of assistive technology by/for people with dementia, followed by dementia research. She is currently the chair of Alzheimer Europe’s working group on ethical issues related to restrictions of freedom.
