Bucharest 2020

Dear colleagues and friends,

We are very happy to invite you to the 30th Alzheimer Europe Conference which will be organised in collaboration with Societatea Română Alzheimer in Bucharest, Romania from 20 to 22 October 2020.

This year’s conference will be held under the motto “Building bridges”.

As in previous years, we hope that the 2020 conference will be a great networking opportunity which will bring together people with dementia, their carers, volunteers and staff of Alzheimer associations, policy makers, health and social care professionals, researchers, academics and industry representatives from all over Europe and beyond.

We have identified a number of key topics for which we would like participants to submit abstracts. We are confident that we will be able to continue and build on the success of previous years where we received over 500 abstracts for oral and poster presentations. The call for abstracts covers five broad fields (policy, people, care approaches, care services and medical aspects), as we want to promote a multi-disciplinary and multi-professional approach to dementia.

As organisers, we are deeply grateful to the health programme of the European Union which supports the activities of Alzheimer Europe in general and this Annual Conference in particular. This support makes it possible for us to provide highly competitive registration rates for a truly unique conference.

We hope you will have some unforgettable days in Bucharest with a truly exciting and innovative programme and a range of networking opportunities.
