Annette DUMAS (EU Public Affairs Officer)

Annette Dumas is the EU Public Affairs Officer for Alzheimer Europe.

Before joining the organisation on April 1, 2006, Annette worked for the European Patients' Forum (EPF), the umbrella group of pan-European patient organisations. Annette previously worked for the pharmaceutical company Merck Sharp & Dohme in France for 10 years in France, before joining the company's European headquarters where she worked as European Affairs Associate for 8 years.
Annette's main duties are to support Alzheimer Europe in its European activities:

• European policies that will have an impact on Alzheimer's Disease (availability and access to treatment, research)
• strategies and positions that will help people with dementia and their carers deal with the disease.
