Jana Žitñanská, MEP (Slovakia) signed the Glasgow Declaration on 17 November 2015 and became a member of the European Alzheimer’s Alliance (EAA) on the same day. The Declaration calls for the creation of a European Dementia Strategy and national strategies in every country in Europe. It also calls all MEPs to join the EAA.
Ms Žitñanská is a member of the European Conservatives and Reformists Group (ECR). She is vice-chair of the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality and is a member of the Committee on Employment and Social Affairs.
