In the run-up to the European Parliament elections in May 2014, Wikström Cecilia, MEP (ALDE, Sweden) signed Alzheimer Europe's European Dementia Pledge, thus becoming a member of the EAA and affirming her support for greater EU collaboration on dementia.
Ms Wikström sits on the Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs Committee and is a substitute on the Committee on Legal Affairs.
