Werthmann Angelika (Member)
Angelika Werthmann (Austria, NI) joined the European Alzheimer’s Alliance in May 2012.
Ms Werthmann is a member of the Committee on Budgets and the Committee on Women's Rights and Gender Equality. She is a substitute of the Committee on Petitions.
Her contributions to Alzheimer Europe's campaign to make dementia a European priority are listed below:
- hosted a panel discussion on neurodegenerative diseases in the European Parliament in July 2013
- attended a lunch debate at the European Parliament in June 2012 which defined Alzheimer’s disease in the new European public health and research programmes
