Miroslav Mikolášik is a Member of the European Parliament from the Group of the European People's Party (Christian Democrats).
He currently is a Member of the Committee on Regional Development and a Substitute on the Committee on the Environment, Public Health and Food Safety and the Subcommittee on Human Rights.
In his contributions to Alzheimer Europe's campaign to make dementia a European priority he :
- joined the European Alzheimer's Alliance in 2008 and signed the Paris Declaration.
