Griesbeck Nathalie is a Member of the European Parliament from the Group of the Alliance of Liberals and Democrats for Europe.
She currently is a Member of the Committee on Civil Liberties, Justice and Home Affairs and a Substitute on the Committee on Transport and Tourism.
In her contributions to Alzheimer Europe's campaign to make dementia a European priority she:
- attended a lunch debate at the European Parliament in June 2012 which defined Alzheimer’s disease in the new European public health and research programmes
- on World Alzheimer's Day 2009, officially opened a ward dedicated to Alzheimer's disease people in retirement home in Metz (France)
- signed EP Written Declaration 80/2008 on the priorities in the fight against Alzheimer's disease
- joined the European Alzheimer's Alliance in 2007 and signed the Paris Declaration.
