Test to detect early signs of Alzheimer’s disease available on line

Friday 13 May 2011

Researchers have developed a ‘Cognitive Function Test’ which aims to ascertain evidence of the risk of an individual (over 50) getting Alzheimer’s disease. The free 15 minute quiz is available on line and was developed by researchers at Oxford University on behalf of Food for the Brain, which is a non profit organisation aiming to raise awareness of the links between nutrition and mental health. The test does not offer a diagnosis and the researchers encourage people to go to their GP for this.
