The World Alzheimer Report 2010, (written by Anders Wimo, Karolinska Instutet, Stockholm, Sweden and Martin Prince, Institute of Psychiatry, King’s College, London, UK) includes information on the estimated world wide cost of dementia (broken down by region into direct medical costs, direct non-medical costs and costs of informal care).
