DG Research publishes calls for proposals under FP7 : ‘A roadmap for mental health research in Europe’

On 7 September 2010, DG Research published calls for proposals under FP7.

The FP7 Health theme key features are in line with the EU 2020 strategy and will seek to improve the health of European citizens and increase the innovative capacity and competitiveness of the European health sector.

A budget of EUR 682 million for R&D will support the 2011 calls.

There will be a strong emphasis on research to tackle lifestyle-related health issues across the calls and thematic areas, such as in diabetes/obesity, cardiovascular disease, brain-related diseases and social determinants of health.
