Research
Alzheimer Europe has been involved in a number of European projects. In particular, we recently carried out a five-country survey on the "Value of Knowing" and the general public's perceptions, experience and knowledge of Alzheimer's disease. We also coordinated the European Collaboration on Dementia (EuroCoDe), are involved in the ambitious PharmaCog project (“Prediction of cognitive properties of new drug candidates for neurodegenerative diseases in early clinical development”) and carried out a number of European comparative studies, helping to identify the similarities but also the vast differences which exist in the different countries’ approaches to dementia.
