Kati Juva has been a consultant in neurology at the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa since 2000 and a consulting physician at the Dementia Care Unit of the Alzheimer Society of Finland since 1990. She has published articles/books on epidemiology, genetics and vascular risk factors and is currently a reader in neurology at Helsinki University. She is Vice President of the Committee of the Finnish Medical Society and a member of the ethics committee of the Finnish Medical Association.
