Celso Pontes is a neurologist. He is the President of the “Grupo Estudo de Envelhecimento Cerebral e Demência” (Aging Brain and Dementia Study Goup) and was the Director of Neurology Department of Medical School Hospital São João in Oporto until 2006. Mr Pontes was a member of the “Comissão de Ética da Sociedade Portuguesa de Neurologia” (Portuguese Neurological Society’s Ethical Committee) and is still a member of the “Comissão Científica da Alzheimer Portugal” (Scientific Committee of Portuguese Alzheimer’s Association).”
