Dementia Ethics Network Working Groups

The structure of the Working Groups

One of the main aims of the Dementia Ethics Network is to set up working groups to reflect on various ethical issues linked to the care and wellbeing of people with dementia and their carers. The members of each group are selected each year on the basis of their expertise or experience in the topic being addressed, but quite often include ethics experts, people with dementia and carers, researchers, health and social care professionals and service providers. Each group usually has a good balance of male and female experts from different countries. The groups are chaired by Alzheimer Europe.
