Di Fiandra Teresa
Teresa Di Fiandra is a psychologist who has also followed a number of courses on epidemiology, quality assurance and services management at the National Institute of Health and the National Research Council. She is currently a Chief Psychologist of the National Health Service acting as consultant to the General Directorate for Health Prevention at the Italian Ministry for Health. She has been Director of Health District and of treatment services and has extensive experience in the field of mental health, dementia and dependence. She represents Italy in mental health area in both WHO Europe and the Council of Europe. She is also a member of the OECD group on Mental Health Care Group Indicators and collaborated on the European Union Green Paper on Mental Health and the European Pact for Mental Health. She has also been actively involved in a number of international research teams, including an OECD study on ageing related diseases and several EU projects on ageing (Forum, ERA-AGE, Eurofamcare). She is currently co-responsible, for the Italian Ministry of Health, in several National studies on Dementia.
